Dhriti has been involved in the healthcare industry for more than a decade where she has bagged credible experience in multiple facets starting from hospital operations & quality, project management, strategy and business consulting in both public & private vertical. She brings in rich experience in a wide range of areas such as project commissioning, process re-engineering, cost management, strategy, quality accreditation & training, revenue maximization, due diligence, feasibility study, digital health transformation and public health program implementation/ scaling.
She has been part of (lead) a team achieving NABH, fastest within the group of cancer hospitals. She is grateful to be on a team developing a whitepaper on Value Based Healthcare published in October 2019 (https://www.pwc.in/assets/pdfs/healthcare/value-based-healthcare.pdf). Her interests in technology driven healthcare operations was a driving factor for introducing AI based thermal screening programs for breast cancer to a public body which would help in aligning their functions to achieve SDG -3 targets.
In her recent years she has played a crucial part in detailing a project coined from an innovative financing perspective for health system strengthening in the public sector termed as Social Impact Bond involving a risk investor to fund a project within the public health unit/s while the returns are subject to the outcomes achieved.
Her exposure to the private as well as public healthcare operations makes her appreciate the uniqueness as well as the success factors for both the verticals, however, focused towards building financial and operational efficiencies.
By qualification she is a B.E in Biomedical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, MHA in Hospital Administration from TISS, Mumbai and has worked across a gamut of companies ranging from boutique companies to large multinational organizations. She is a certified NABH internal auditor and a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Indian Statistical Institute, Mumbai.
