Shibaji brings with him about two decades of experience in the Healthcare industry.His area of interest is in strategic management and patient experience optimisation. Working as it’s Principal for Medium Healthcare, Shibaji has been focusing on executing multiple assignments dealing with Patient Experience Management and in studying emerging markets in India for their business potential in healthcare. He has anchored a number of transformational and blue printing projects at mid sized hospital facilities in more recent times with Medium.
By virtue of his diverse job roles , Shibaji has visited several hospitals and clinics in Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia and Thailand. He spent over five years working with the poorest of poor in rural areas of Jharkhand while he was with KGVK , a social enterprise promoted by Usha Martin group. As Director-Healthcare, he led the team to create a network of rural franchisees, community hospitals and a nursing school. As a stark contrast, he has also interacted with a pool of over six hundred HNIs interested to invest in healthcare while heading business development in East India for Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd.
Shibaji is an PGDHM (MHA) from IISW& BM, Kolkata, and completed his Executive Program in Business Management from IIM, Calcutta. He has attended management development program in Leadership and Change Management from IIM Ahmedabad, along with training on organisation effectiveness from ICOMP, Kualalumpur. Apart from being an active blogger dealing with various issues on caregiver’s perspective , he has also been featured in the tenth Indian edition of ‘Management’ by Stephen Robbins.
